10.6 SDI Output Modules
The SDI output modules should be configured for the desired output resolution no other
adjustment is possible.
10.7 Genlock Function
Each output will normally free run at the chosen output resolution. In
many situations the user may want to have these outputs co-timed. The
unit therefore permits an output to be locked to an input of the same
resolution.
For each output there is a Genlock button and a source select for the
Genlock. The source select is normally set to Null. To start Genlock the
user should set the Genlock source. For this system a studio sync of
1920x1080p50 has been connected to slot 4 input 1, and renamed.
For the first four outputs in Slots 11 and 13 may we want to lock them to
this source. First move to the output and select the Genlock Source. A
pull down will appear and chose Studio Sync.
Next the user should attempt to initiate Genlock by ticking the Genlock
box. If there is no valid signal on the input or the valid resolution does
not match the output resolution the user is warned with the message
below.
