CORIOmaster control software configuration
8.1 Software overview
The software has been developed to easily access all of the functions of the CORIOmaster
from a computer. Connection is currently only possible by RS232. The GUI has been
designed so the user has full control and a visual representation of the whole system
topography.
8.2 Software installation
If you haven’t already got a copy of the CORIOmaster software you can download it from
the following URL:

The software will be contained in compressed folder so it’s advisable to first install a
compression utility tool such as WinZip, WinRAR or 7-Zip. These are freely available to
download from the internet. Before starting you will also need to make sure you have
Microsoft .NET 4 running on your computer.
The version of control software depends on the version of Windows running on the PC.
For Windows XP and Windows 7 (32 bit) download the 32 bit version. For Windows 7 (64
bit) download the 64 bit version. The files should be extracted to a temporary directory,
the directory C:\Coriomaster is recommended.
Once extracted, move to the Coriomaster directory and run the install program. A Dos
window will appear, agree to any pop up windows. Once installed a Desktop icon for the
CORIOmaster program is generated.
Three files are placed in the C:\ProgramFiles\TVOne\Master directory.
If the program fails to install this is likely to be caused by permission restrictions. To
observe any problem run the DOS command prompt from the accessories group in the
Windows Icon in administrator mode (right click). In the DOS window move to the
directory the files where the extracted are located. Type install and observe any failure
notices displayed. From this it should be possible to work out what settings on the PC
need to be corrected to permit proper installation.
8.3 Running the Application
Now that the Silverlight application has been installed the user can run the application by
double clicking on the CORIOmaster icon. The initial screen below should appear. Check
that the version number shown in the bottom left hand corner is valid for the firmware
loaded into the CORIOmaster. For this manual the Software should read 1.133.4.x
