CLEANING OF THE MACHINE
Keep the LS–22 Lawn Seeder free of any buildup of dirt,
soil, seed, or grass. Low pressure wash only.
DO NOT
HIGH PRESSURE WASH.
High pressure washing can
force water into the sealed bearings washing away the
lubrication.
HARDWARE INSPECTION
The LS–22 Lawn Seeder operates with vibration. Check
and retighten nuts and screws frequently to ensure safe
operation.
Service and Adjustments
TIRE PRESSURE
Keep the tires inflated to the pressure level indicated
on the tire. Tires are equipped with a sealant.
Wear eye
protection when checking tires.
Check only when the
valve stem is at the top of the wheel.
ENGINE REPLACEMENT
The maximum horsepower rating of any engine that can
be installed on the LS–22 Lawn Seeder is 4.41 KWt (6
HP). Any engine used on the LS–22 must conform to the
original design of the machine. DO NOT alter the LS–22
in any manner to install an engine. If the engine being
installed must be altered to fit the LS-22 Lawn Seeder,
that engine CAN NOT be used. Any engine used must
conform to all State and Federal exhaust emissions,
noise and safety laws.

Rear Wheel Grease Fittings:
Lube after every 20
Hours of Operation. Two (2) fittings, one located
on each rear wheel hub.
Blade Assembly Bearings, Seed Hopper
Bearings, and Clutch Idler Bearing:
All
bearings are sealed and require no further
lubrication. Periodic inspection should be done
to insure that any worn bearings are detected
and replaced.
Chassis:
Lightly lubricate all pivot points with light
machine oil.
ENGINE:
CHECK OIL LEVELS DAILY.
Check oil
level when engine is level. Follow the engine
manufacturer’s manual for intervals of oil
change, proper oil types, and fill levels for the
engine.
