BEFORE OPERATION
1. Fill LS-22 seed hopper with grass seed. (Seed gate should be closed).
2. Set seed gate dial according to seed application chart. Application rates on chart are
approximate. Actual application rate will vary depending on actual seed size and shape.
3. Adjust blade depth adjustment control to desired depth. Blades should cut into the soil
approximately 1/8" to 1/4" (3.1 mm to 6.3 mm)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO START OPERATION -
4. Start engine, set throttle.
5. Pull clutch control handle back to start
blade assembly rotating.
6. Pull wheel lift handle back to lower blade assembly into turf.
7. Push LS-22 forward and open seed gate.
TO STOP OPERATION -
8. Release clutch.
9. Close seed gate.
10. Push wheel lift
handle forward.
11. Stop Engine.
