Shrouds (#2, #3)

, in the position as shown above, and slide 

them all the way down.

It is imperative that you maintain proper cable adjustment to ensure 
a safe and smooth operation. 

Caution:  

The Cable should be inspected and adjusted periodi-

cally to avoid any slack in the cable which would, consequently, 
prevent any damage to the equipment or personal injury. 

CABLE ADJUSTMENT 

Cable Adjustment 

 

1. Loosen the Finished Hex Nut 1/2-13 (#85). 
2. Thread the Cable Hex Tap Bolt 1/2-13 X 3 (#84) in or out 

of the threaded socket of the 

Top Plate Selector Bar (#8)

 

to give the 

Cable (#49)

 proper tension. 

3. Re-tighten the Finished Hex Nut 1/2-13 (#85) to complete 

the adjustment. 

 

Caution:

 Make sure the Cable Hex Tap Bolt 1/2-13 

X 3 (#84) is threaded at least 1/2” into the threaded 
socket of the 

Top Plate Selector Bar (#8)

 once the 

cable adjustment has been completed.
