2-6: Fitting the guardrails
Positioning guardrails:
1-
Slide the guardrail for one side to the required height.
2-
Position the guardrail correctly taking care that the flat part of the hooks and the uprights are in contact with each
other.
3-
Attach the arms of the guardrail to the ladder uprights, for tightening the guardrail clip see the section on tightening
the stabilizer clips. The operation is identical.
4-
Install the guardrail on the other side as per instructions 1, 2, and 3.
In this example where the work surface is at 3m, we had to put flooring 1 m high.
The scaffolding work surface can now be fitted. This should be placed 2 rungs below the lower rail on the guardrail.
Whenever necessary, you can now climb the ladders as the scaffolding has been made safe by the stabilizers and reinforced by the guardrails.
No movement should be possible
once the clip is locked in position
