6. Select the direction the vehicle must be moving to trigger the linkage method. Only
the vehicles moving in the selected direction can trigger the selected linkage
method. Under
Direction , select one of the following options:
Forward The vehicle moves toward the camera.
Reverse The vehicle moves away from the camera
All The vehicle moves toward or away from the camera.
7. Specify the linkage method when an event occurs. Select one or more response
methods for the system when number plate is detected.
Normal Actions This is a group selection. It automatically selects “Notify Alarm
Recipient” and “Upload to FTP/Memory Card/NAS”.
Notify Alarm Recipient Send an exception or alarm signal to remote management software
when an event occurs.
Upload to FTP/Memory
Card/NAS Capture the image when an alarm is triggered and upload the picture
to NAS, Memory Card or FTP server.
Note : To upload the snapshot to NAS, you must first configure the
NAS settings. See “NAS settings” on page 69 for further information.
To upload the snapshot to an FTP, you must first configure the FTP
settings. See “To define the FTP parameters” on page 36 for further
information. Enable the
Upload Type option.
To upload the snapshot to FTP and NAS when motion detection or an
alarm input is triggered, you must also enable
Enable Event-
triggered Snapshot under the snapshot parameters. See
“Snapshots” on page 67 for further information.
Trigger Alarm Output Trigger external alarm outputs when an event occurs. Select “Select
All” or each individual alarm output.
Note: This option is only supported by cameras that support alarm
output.
A->1 Trigger the alarm input A->1.
8. Click Save to save changes.
Picture overlay
Configure the text overlay to appear on the snapshot. You can configure the fields
Device No., Camera No. and Camera info, which can be displayed in the snapshot
overlay.
To set up the picture overlay function:
1. Click Configuration > Camera Configuration > Road Traffic > Picture and select
the text to overlay on the picture. The options are: Device number, capture time,
direction, matching result, plate number, camera information, camera number, lane
number, validity.
You can also change the order in which the overlay text appears on the snapshot
from the
Sorting column.
