To configure ROI settings:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Camera Configuration >
Video/Audio > ROI .
2. Click Draw Area to draw the region of interest on the image. Click Stop to stop
drawing.
Up to four regions can be drawn.
3. Choose the stream type to set the ROI encoding.
4. Under Fixed Region , select the Fixed Region check box to manually configure the
different regions on screen.
Define the regions required:
Region No .: Select a region number and draw it on screen. The best image quality
will be inside the region’s rectangle.
ROI Level : Select the level to enhance the selected region’s image quality. The
range is between 1 and 6, where 6 is the highest enhancement between inside the
region’s rectangle and the background.
Region Name : Enter the region name.
5. Under Dynamic Region , select the Enable License Plate Tracking check box if you
want to track the license plates of moving vehicles.
Select the ROI level to enhance the image quality of the moving vehicle. The range
is between 1 and 6, where 6 is the highest enhancement between inside the
region’s rectangle and the background.
6. Click Save to save changes.
