4 Delete image In playback mode, to delete stored
images or videos (shift OK button down).
5 Flash settings When taking photograph, to enable or
disable flash (shift OK button left).

5 Install battery
5.1 To charge the battery
1. Take out the battery from the camera (or the first time from the box).
2. Place the battery onto the supplied charger.
3. Plug the AC power onto the charger so it starts to charge the battery.
Note : It’s recommended to charge new battery for over 8 hours.
Note: If you plug power without placing battery in the charger, the LED on
the charger turns ‘
green ’.
Note: If you plug power and place battery into the charger, The LED on the
charger may either turn ‘
green ’ when battery is fully charged or turn
‘ red ’ when it’s charging.
Caution: If LED on the charger flickers in red and green after placing battery into
charger, it means the battery is fully charged. Please stop charging.
Caution: The charger or battery is indicated as defective one, if no LED light
turns on while AC power is well connected.
Caution: If battery is not new and has been charged for over 4 hours, but the
LED remains ‘red’. Please stop charging; it indicates the battery is
malfunction.
5.2 Insert battery
See quick install guide point 2 or Fig 5.
Note: Make sure the camera is turned off .
The battery indicator will be displayed at the bottom of the LCD screen when the
camera is turned on.
