Installation of the VIBE
TM
to fit
Toro TriFlex 3300, 3320, 3400 & 3420
Tools Required:
1/2” Combination Wrench
1/2” Socket with Ratchet & Extension
1.
Read these instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the parts and assembly drawings before
starting.
2.
Unpack the new rollers.
3.
Bolt the hitch mounting bar (31P-TFV5-004) directly on top of the roller with two 5/16 – 18 x 2 Gr. 5 hex
bolts (H-2503), add the flange nuts (H-1147) to bottom and tighten. Note: this part is symmetrical, so there
is no left or right.
4.
Read the “Lift Bar and Torsion Stabilizing Bumper Mount Notice” below, and follow the instructions if
they apply to your Toro TriFlex Greens Mower.
5.
Remove the clipping baskets, drive motors and cutting reels from the triplex greens mower and place the
vibratory rollers into position. Reattach the lifting mechanism, install the drive motors, and lock into place.
6.
Check the operation of all 3 True-Surface
®
rollers.
LIFT BAR AND TORSION STABILIZING BUMPER MOUNT NOTICE:
If your Toro Triflex greens mower has the torsion mount stabilizing bumper for the rear cutting rollers, then mount
the lift bar using the
two 5/16” holes that are at the rear most point of the True-Surface® roller hood
. This
will provide clearance between the vibratory roller and the bumper tab.
We recommend replacing the Toro factory bumper with the True-Surface® style bumper to prevent scratching the
roller against the tab. Simply pull the factory bumper out of the tab, and install the new bumper with the centering
washer, bolt and nut as shown, and tighten.
