Start The Unit
DIDN’T START?
IF
engine doesn’t start, go back to step 10.
IF
engine fails to start after 2 attempts, move
choke lever to position 3 and pull the starter
rope until engine starts.
IF
engine hesitates, return choke to Position
2 and continue to warm-up.
NOTE
: unit is properly warmed up when
engine accelerates without hesitation.

Remove the oil plug from the
crankcase, and pour the
entire bottle of oil into the fill
hole.

Place unit on a level surface
and fill fuel tank.
DO NOT
overfill.

or until fuel is visible
Move
choke lever to
Position 1
.
Stand in starting position.
WARNING:
Tines
WILL
ROTATE
on
START
. Always
stand in starting position with
foot on wheel when starting
the unit.
SQUEEZE
and
HOLD
throttle control for
ALL
further steps.
Move
choke lever to
Position 2
.
Pull
rope
3-5 times
to start
engine.
Run
unit for
30-60
seconds
to warm up.
Continue to squeeze
throttle.
Move
choke lever
to
Position 3
.
Continue to squeeze
throttle.
Run
unit for an
additional 60 seconds
to
complete warm-up. Unit
may be used during this
time.

Remove all contents from
the carton.

Making sure the tine hole is
aligned with the outer shaft
hole, insert the clevis pin
and secure with the retainer.
Repeat for the opposite
side.

With the J part of the wheel
support pointing out, slide it
into the bracket and insert
the clevis pin through the
hole and secure with the
retainer. The support may be
adjusted.

Tip the unit back so that it
resting on the lower handle.

With the hubs facing each
other, install the tines onto
the shaft. The single tine
should go on first and then
the double tine. Repeat for
the opposite side.

With the On/Off switch
facing up and on the right
side of the unit, insert the
handle bolts into each of the
square holes of the upper
handle and through the
lower handle.

Place the washer and screw
the handle knob onto the
bolt. Hand tighten the
handle knobs until the upper
handle is secure to the lower
handle.
