No function when ON Button (5) is operated
No power
Check power supply
Defective ON Button
Have the switch assembly replaced at an authorised Triton
service centre
Sanding Sleeve slips on drum
Spindle Lock Nut (2) not tight enough
Tighten Spindle Lock Nut in small increments until the drum
secures the Sanding Sleeve
Large amounts of wood dust and chippings are on the
table surface
Dust Port (21) passage is blocked
Turn OFF the machine at the mains. Remove the Sanding
Drum (25), Table Insert (26) and the spindle washer. Remove
the blockage from the dust extractor passage
Incorrect Table Insert used
Change to the correct-sized Table Insert
Sanding drum not operating at full speed or motor sounds
different to normal
Motor over-heating
Switch OFF and allow to cool for a 1/2hr and check the
Motor Vents (17 & 22) are not blocked
Motor faulty
Contact an authorised Triton service centre
