Troubleshooting manual
Replacement of the extension unit.
Extension unit replacement procedure is the same for each VSD, different
only in numbers of extension units. VSD can be completed of one, two or three
extension units.
Preparations:
A VSD must be de-energized and disconnected from a power supply.
Using a multimeter, make sure that there is no dangerous voltage on a
DC-link.
Use the following tools for dismantling the extension unit:

crosshead screwdriver

1 pc;
•
side cutter
–
1 pc;
•
flat screwdrive
–
1 pc;
•
lineman’s pliers
–
1 pc.
Replacement one extension unit
In case if it is necessary to dismantle Extension unit:
1.
Remove safety plate, unscrewing 6 screws, as shown at the figure 18, using
crosshead screwdriver.
