There are two ways in which to locate a phonebook entry:
1. Use the
navigation keys to move up and down the list until the required entry is found, then press
.
2. If the name for the phonebook entry is known, start typing the name using the keypad as normal. The characters typed
appear in the quick search
text box, and the list automatically scrolls to the appropriate location
in the list. If there is no entry in the list corresponding exactly to the characters typed, then the highlight is positioned to the
entry that would follow such an entry, if it did exist.
Use
key to clear and correct any wrongly entered characters. As you get close to the entry, you can also use the
navigation keys to locate the actual entry. When you have found the desired phonebook entry, press
in order to carry out the desired action.

Pressing
gives access to the following options:
[Details]
View the details of the currently highlighted phonebook entry.
[Call]
Place a voice call to this person. Please refer to the "Outgoing Call" section above.
[New]
Create a new entry to you phonebook. Please refer to the Phonebook "Add Entry" screen
below.
[Delete entry]
Delete the currently highlighted item from the phonebook.
A confirmation/warning screen is displayed before the actual
deletion takes place. Please refer to the "Phonebook Delete
Entry" screen below.
[Copy to FDN]
Copy the selected phonebook entry to the FDN (Fixed Dial Numbers" list. You will be
prompted for PIN2 in order to authorise this action. Please refer to the security section of
this guide for further details.
[Sync. SIM]
Synchronise the selected phonebook entry with the SIM.
Pressing
("Additional Options") gives access to the following functions:
[Delete All]
Delete ALL entries from your phone book.
A confirmation/warning screen is displayed before the actual
deletion takes place. Please refer to the "Phonebook Delete
All" screen below.
[Copy all to FDN]
Copy ALL the phonebook entries to the FDN (Fixed Dial Numbers" list. You will be
