The engine dies when
engaging the reverse in
the tractor
1.
Reverse operating mode system (ROS) is
not triggered while the cutter or some other
accessory is coupled.
1. Turn the start key to the position “On” of
the reverse operating mode system. See the
“
Operation
” section.
The engine continues
to work when the
operator leaves the
seat, with the clutch of
accessories engaged
1. Failure of the presence control system of
the operator.
1. Check wiring, switches and connections. If
you cannot locate the problem, contact the
closest TRAPP Authorized Service Center.
Inadequate or uneven
cut
1. Spent, bent, or loose blade.
1. Replace the blade. Tighten the blade.
2. The cutter assembly is not level.
2. Level the cutter assembly.
3. Build up lawn, leaves and dirt under the
mower.
3. Clean the bottom of the mower box.
4. Curved blade chuck.
4. Seek professional services of the closest
TRAPP Authorized Service Center.
5. Ventilation holes in the mower assembly
blocked due to buildup of lawn, leaves
and dirt around the chucks.
5. Clean around the chucks in order to cutter
unclog the ventilation holes.
6. Tire pressure.
6. Check the pressure.
The mower blades
do not rotate
1. Obstruction in the clutch mechanism.
1. Remove the obstruction.
2. Wear or damaged mower drive belt or.
2. Replace the mower drive belt.
3. The mower belt is off the engine pulley.
3. Install the belt on the engine pulley.
4. Intermediate pulley locked.
4. Replace the intermediate pulley.
5. Locked blade chuck.

Lawn low discharge
1. Very low engine speed.

Place the throttle control on the Fast
position.
2. Very high engine speed.
2. Switch to a lower speed .
3. Wet lawn.
3. Wait until the lawn has dried.
4. Uneven cutter assembly.
4. Level the cutter assembly.
5. Low or uneven tire pressure.
5. Check the tire pressure.
6. Spent, bent, or loose blade.
6. Replace or sharpen the blade. Tighten the
blade bolt.
7. Build up lawn, leaves and dirt under the
mower.
7. Clean the bottom of the mower box.
8. Cutter drive belt already worn.
8. Replace the cutter drive belt.
9. Improperly installed blades.
9. Reinstall the blades with the sharp edge
down.
10. Use of improper blades.
10. Replace with recommended blades in this
manual.
11. Block the ventilation holes in the mower
assembly due to buildup of lawn, leaves
and dirt around the chucks.
11. Clean around the chucks in order to unclog
the ventilation holes.
