From side to side
Beware!
The blades are sharp. Protect your hands with
gloves and/or wrap the blade in a cloth.
If the mower deck appears to be cutting lower
on one side, leveling from side to side must be
performed. If adjustment is required, proceed as
follows:
1. With the tractor parked on a flat surface, set the
cutting height adjustment lever to the maximum
height and rotate the blade near the tractor’s side
outlet until it is parallel with the tractor;
2. Measure the distance from the left side of the deck
to the floor and from the right side to the floor. The
two measures must be equal. If not, proceed to the
next step;
3. Loosen (but do not remove) the 1/2” hex bolt (A)
on the left side of the deck bracket. See Image 18;
4. Adjust the deck using a wrench to move the 1
1/4”adjustment gear (B) (located immediately
behind the loosened hex bolt) clockwise or
counterclockwise. The deck is properly leveled
when the measures from the sides to the floor are
the same;
5. Retighten the hexagonal bolt when it reaches the
optimum setting.

Adjusting the reference wheels
The reference wheels are properly adjusted when
they are slightly above the ground, with the mower
at the desired cutting height in the operating
position. This way, the reference wheels keep the
mower assembly in the correct position, avoiding
excessive cutting under varying terrain conditions.
Note:
Adjust the reference wheels with the tractor
parked on flat and level surface.
1. Adjust the mower to the desired cutting height (see
“
Adjusting the cutting height of the mower
” in this
same section of the manual);
2. With the mower at the desired cutting height, the
reference wheels must be mounted so that they are
slightly above the ground. Install one of the wheels
into the appropriate hole and tighten securely;
3. Repeat the procedure for all wheels by installing
them in the same setting hole.
Parking brake adjustment
Warning!
Never attempt to adjust the brake when the
tractor is on. Always turn off the blades, move
the gear lever to NEUTRAL, switch off the engine
and remove the ignition key to prevent accidental
starting.
