Install the access panel (on page 24).

Removing the system fan cage

To remove a system fan assembly:

Power off the server and detach all of the power cords from the power supplies.

Remove the access panel (on page 23).

Remove the system fan assembly (on page 28).

Flip the handle to release the fan cage.

Remove the fan cage from the system board.
