Installation of the fall arrest device
4.4.1 Evidence of carrying capacity
The construction for hanging the safety rope as
well as the component to which the BLOCSTOP
®
fall
arrest device is anchored must have at least four
times the carrying capacity (against rupture) of the
BLOCSTOP
®
.
This is necessary in order to cope with the dynamic
load in the event of fall arresting.
