• TheloadlimiterHF31/1/A2isamechanicalloadlimiterforwireropesoperatingontheprincipleofapotential-free
contactwhichistrippedwhenthetensioninthewireropehasexceededthepresetlimit.
• Thecontactisautomaticallyresetoncethetensioninthewireropeis200daN(hysteresisvalueofcontact)below
thesetlimit.

This load limiter is specially designed to manage one or two safety thresholds on small and medium capacity
overheadtravellingcranes.
3.2. Operating principle
Deflectionofthewireropeexertedbytheloadlimiterproducesatangentialforcewhichisproportionaltotheforce
exertedonthewireropewhenpulled.
Deformationoftheloadlimiterbodycausesthemicroswitchesintegratedintheloadlimitertoopen.
