Rotate the disc until colour match is obtained. Record disc reading that is displayed in the small viewing window
to the bottom right.
Free Chlorine concentration is the reading on the disc.
Total Chlorine Sample preparation:
•
Remove the cell from the
right side
of the comparator.
•
Remove the lid and add
one DPD No.3 tablet
straight from the foil to the water sample.
•
Crush the tablet using a clean stirring rod, until no large pieces are visible.
•
Fit rubber stopper to the cell and invert several times until the tablet is dissolved.
