Configure the Access Point
• Enable VLAN
- Check this box and then you can change the VLAN ID of each SSID. If
you want to configure the Guest and Internal networks on VLAN, the switch you are
using must support VLAN. As a prerequisite step, configure a port on the switch for
handling VLAN tagged packets as described in the IEEE802.1Q standard, and enable
this field.

Repeater/Bridge Mode
• SSID (to be bridged)
- Enter the case-sensitive SSID of the host network which the
extender wille be connecting to or click
Wireless Scanner
and select a Wi-Fi network.
• BSSID (to be bridged)
- Enter the MAC Address of the host network which the extender
will be connecting to or click
Wireless Scanner
and select a Wi-Fi nework.
• Security
- Select one of the security options to match with the host network.
• No Security
- This option disables the wireless security.
• WPA-PSK
- This option supports implementation of the WPA (Wi-Fi Protected
Access) standard. It is recommended.
• Password
- You can enter ASCII or Hexadecimal characters. For Hexadecimal, the length should
be between 8 and 64 characters; for ASCII, the length should be between 8 and 63 characters.
• WPA2-PSK
- This option supports implementation of the WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected
Access) standard. It is also recommended.
• Password
- You can enter ASCII or Hexadecimal characters. For Hexadecimal, the length should
be between 8 and 64 characters; for ASCII, the length should be between 8 and 63 characters.
