Use the included needle plate screwdriver to
remove the two needle plate screws.

Slightly lift up the needle plate, cut out the
tangled thread, and then remove the needle
plate.

Remove the bobbin case, and then remove any thread around the hook and feed dog.
* Refer to “Feed dog and hook maintenance” (page 98).
* If the fabric still cannot be removed, contact your retailer.
Caution
Carefully work around pointed parts to avoid cutting your fingers.
Not doing so could cause injuries.
