Turn off the sewing machine.

Pull up the spool pin, and then place the spool of 
thread on it.

Pull the thread from the thread spool, and then 
hold it with one hand (1) while passing it around 
the thread guide with the other hand (2).

From the inside, pass the thread through the hole 
in the bobbin as shown. Place the bobbin on the 
thread winding spindle so the groove aligns with 
the shaft projection.

5

Turn on the sewing machine.

 Caution

While the bobbin is being wound, do not touch the thread winding spindle or the 
handwheel.

Doing so could cause injuries.
