Installation
1
Raise the presser foot lever.

Align the presser foot holder with the presser bar.

Push up the presser foot holder until it contacts the
presser foot holder clamp screw, and then, while
holding the presser foot holder in place with your
right hand, turn the needle plate screwdriver
towards yourself with your left hand to tighten the
presser foot holder clamp screw.
Note
• If the presser foot holder is not correctly installed, the needle may hit the presser foot or the stitching
will not be sewn correctly.
Caution
Firmly tighten the screw with the included screwdriver, and check that the needle does
not hit the presser foot.
If the screw is loose, the needle will hit the presser foot and break or bend, which could cause
injuries.
