Vehicles without smart entry & start system

If the system cannot connect due to poor signal strength with the engine
switch in the “ACC” or “ON” position, the system will automatically attempt to
reconnect.

Vehicles with smart entry & start system

If the system cannot connect due to poor signal strength with the engine
switch in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode, the system will automatically
attempt to reconnect.

If the telephone is turned off, the system will not attempt to reconnect. In this
case, the connection must be made manually, or the telephone must be rese-
lected.

Connecting a portable audio player

It may take time if the device connection is carried out during portable audio
player playback.
