Align (Sphere plug-in only)
NOTE:
This parameter is labeled
STEREO WIDTH
in the Sphere 180 plug-in.
The plug-in
’
s two mic models are perfectly phase aligned by default. With physical mics, this occurs
when each diaphragm is the same distance from the source; this corresponds to setting
ALIGN
to
0
.
ALIGN
lets you adjust the relative distance between them.
For example,
setting
ALIGN
to
:
•
1 adjusts the relative phase as if
MIC 2
is 1 cm
farther
from the source than
MIC 1
.
•
-1 adjusts the relative phase as if
MIC 2
is 1 cm
closer
to the source than
MIC 1
.
NOTE:
Since
ALIGN
adjusts the relative phase between mic models, it has no effect unless two mics
are used.
Stereo Width (Sphere 180 plug-in only)

in the Sphere plug-in.

•

MIC 1
and
MIC 2
.
