Focus ring and zoom tab
The
focus ring (505-1302-xx)
fits around the front of the projection lens. The
zoom tab (340-1149-xx)
snaps into place adjacent to the focus ring. The focus ring and zoom tab can be replaced without
disassembling the projector. All Both parts are available as User Replaceable Parts, and both parts are
included in the TDP-P6
Hardware Kit (802-0036-xx)
.
The
lens cap (505-1694-xx)
snaps onto the focus ring. It includes a tether, which anchors to the top
enclosure. The lens cap is a User Replaceable Part.

Place the projector on the work surface with the lens pointing upward.

To remove the zoom tab, insert a small bladed screwdriver between the tab and the front bezel.
Place one finger on the tab while prying up with the screwdriver. Take care when you do this: the
zoom tab has two delicate tabs. Once the tab is loose, lift it off of the projector. (Note that if the
tab is broken off, you can pry the part off by inserting the screwdriver between the zoom tab body
and the focus ring.)
