Programmed Playback with
Audio CD
and MP3 Disc
Program allows you to store your favorite tracks for a
particular disc in the player memory
.
Program can contain 32 tracks (Audio CD) or 60 tracks
(MP3 disc).

Insert the disc and close the tray
.
The menu is displayed on the
TV screen.

Press PROGRAM during playback or in the stop
mode to enter the Program Edit mode.
The
mark will appear to the right of the word Program
on the right side of the menu screen.
Note
Press PROGRAM to exit the Program Edit mode;
the
mark will disappear
.

to select a track then press ENTER to
place the selected track on the Program list.

Repeat step 3 to place additional tracks on the
Program list.

the tracks and

Playback stops after all of the tracks on the Program list
have played once.
Note
The programmed tracks are cleared when the power is
turned of
f or the disc is removed.
Programmed Playback with V

Note
On a V
ideo CD with PBC, you must set PBC to Of
f on the
setup menu to use the Program function. See page 14.

Erasing the Complete Program List

The complete Program for the disc will be erased.
The programs are also cleared when the disc is removed.

Playing an
Audio CD and MP3 disc
The DVD Player can play MP3 formatted recordings on
CD-ROM, CD-R or CD-R
W discs.
Before playing MP3 recordings, read the notes on MP3
Recordings on page 22.

3D Surround
This unit can produce a 3D Surround ef
fect, which
simulates multi-channel audio playback from two
conventional stereo speakers, instead of the five or
more speakers normally required to listen to multi-
channel audio from a home theater system.
