4.25 LCD unit & FL inverter

Removing the LCD unit & FL inverter

The following describes the procedure for removing the LCD unit & FL inverter. (See
Figure 4-37 to 4-39.)

NOTE:

When replacing the LCD unit, do not give the hinge portion a strong press. It

may cause the breakage of the hinge assembly.
Also, Use a stand or something under the LCD part to keep the LCD part
level while replacing it.

Peel off the

mask seals

(6 points)

from the LCD mask.

Remove the following

screws

securing the LCD mask.

M2.0x6.0B

FLAT BIND screw

Laying down the LCD to make the LCD and the cover assembly flat, release the
latches and remove the

LCD mask

Remove the

cross function button

from the application switch board.

NOTE:

When removing the LCD mask, be careful not to lose the cross function button

because the button is easily removed.
