SNMP Setup
SNMP Protocol is supported in firmware version v2.2.4.16 and above.
SNMPv1/v2c and SNMPv3 are enabled by default. To change the default configurations, follow the below
steps.
1. Login to become an Administrator and go to the settings page by clicking the "gear" icon on the top
navigation bar.
2. Go to "SNMP" within the "Settings/Protocol" menu.
3. Toggle "SNMP Protocol" to "Enabled" (toggle should point to the right).
4. Click the "Version" dropdown menu to select the SNMP version. The setting options are "v1", "v2c", "v3",
and "Enable All". The "Enable All" option will enable SNMPv1/v2c and SNMPv3.
5. Enter an integer for "Port Number". By default, "Port Number" is set to 161.
6. For SNMPv1/v2c, read and write community strings are required for communication. By default, the read
community string is set to "public" string, and the write community string is set to "private" string.
7. For SNMPv3, a user account is required for communication. Up to 8 user accounts can be entered.
8. Click the "Save" button to save the settings.
9. To download MIB file go to "User Guide" and click the "SNMP" menu.
SNMP Trap Receivers Setup:
1. Login to become an Administrator and go to the settings page by clicking the "gear" icon on the top
navigation bar.
2. Go to "SNMP Traps Receivers" within the "Settings/Notification" menu.
