The operating conditions are indicated below.
1.
(OPERATION) lamp (green)
This lamp goes on during operation.
2.
(TIMER) lamp (green)
This lamp goes on white the timer reserved.
3.
(STAND BY) lamp (orange)
This lamp lights up when the power is turned on or right after heating operation starts or during defrost operation
and thermo control.
TEMPORARY button
If you misplace or lose the remote control or its batteries are
exhausted, push the TEMPORARY button.
1. Open the air inlet grille to push the TEMPORARY button.
You can lift the grille up to an angle wherever it will remain fixed.
Do not lift the grille any further when it stops with a clicking sound.
2. Push the TEMPORARY button to start the air conditioner.
Push this button once again to stop it. (
see page 16.)

In case of timer setting by wired remote controller,
lamp does not light.

NOTES
•
When the power is turned on for the first time after installation,
lamp lights up for setting of addresses of
systems and units. When the power is turned on the next time,
lamp lights up for approximately 1 minute.
While the above lamp is on, all the commands from the remote control cannot be received. However, this is not
a malfunction or failure.
•
Disagreement in operation mode
If you select AUTOMATIC OPERATION in a model with no auto-changeover (cooling/heating) control setting
or if you select HEAT in a Cool Only model,
lamp lights up and
and
lamps blink alternately with an
alarm sound (pi, pi ) from the air conditioner due to disagreement in operation mode. Change the operation
mode with the MODE button on the wireless remote control.This disagreement indication cannot be deleted by
the wired remote controller.
•
When local prohibition is set by the central control from other equipment, no signal is received even if the
remote control button is pressed. (An alarm sound “pi ” arises intermittently five times.)
