Installing the Touch pad 

The following describes the procedure for installing the touch pad. (See Figure 4-18 to 4-21.) 

1.

 

Connect the 

touch pad cable

 to the connector on the touch pad and stick the 

glass 

tape

. 

2.

 

Install the 

touch pad

 

assembly

 to the slot and secure it with the following 

screws

. 

•

Connect the 

touch pad cable

 to the connector 

CN3240

 on the system board. 

4.

 

Install the

 touch pad cover

 while engaging latches. 

5.

 

Close the display and turn over the computer. 

6.

 

Secure the following 

screw

 to fix the touch pad.
