Term
Definition
Base station
The primary component of the system. The base station manages
connections with the IPedge or Strata® CIX™ system and handles call
control and audio routing for handsets.
Handset
The handset provides the user interface and allows the end user to make
and receive calls. The end user’s main interface.
Charger
The charger provides a slot to charge the handset battery along with a slot
for charging a spare battery.
