Remote control
The remote control does not work.
• The batteries in the remote control are exhausted.

Replace all the batteries in the remote control

• The light emitter of the remote control is not pointed
at the receptor of this recorder.

Point the emitter of the remote control at the
receptor of this recorder.
• The receptor of this recorder is located too far away
from the remote control.

Operate the remote control within 7 meters (23 ft)
from the receptor of this recorder.
• There are obstacles between the remote control and
this recorder.

Remove any obstacles.
• The receptor is disturbed by sunlight or fluorescent
light.

Change the place of this recorder or shield the
light.
• The remote mode is not appropriate.

Adjust the remote mode of the remote control and
this recorder (

• The setting of the TV/DVD selector is not correct.

Clock
