Measuring instrument
After repairing by parts replacement, etc., be sure to make the following trial operation to see if the set operates
normally.
(1) Insulation resis-
tance
(2) Ground
(3) Safety device
(4) Safety designated
parts
(5) Lead wire
(6) Tightening of screws,
nuts, etc., and
applying of screw lock
(7) Removal of
foreign matter
(8) Oil leakage, water
leakage
(9) Power cord
(10) Horizontal
adjustment
(11) Installing
position
Unplug the cord from the power outlet.
Then measure the insulation resistance between
the cord and the grounding terminal.
The measured valve should be 1 M
Ω
or more.
In the following cases, check sufficiently.
1) Replaced the electrical parts with new one.
2) Used in a moist place.
3) Used 5 years or more.
Grounding wire of the machine schould be firmly
connected to the ground bar, the grounding
terminal or ground outlet.
In the following cases, explain the danger to
user and ground properly.
1) Connected to a gas pipe.
2) Connected to a vinyl chloride water pipe.
Check the braking time of the spin basket.
Braking time schould be under following table.
Load
Brake stop time
Unload
4 - 8 sec.
Rating load
7 - 14 sec.
Replace with the designated parts in case the
parts used are not proper.
(Refer to
marked parts in the parts list.)
Check to see if the lead wire is properly con-
nected without looseness or overtension and the
taping and the binding are firmly performed.
Check to see if the screws, nuts, etc., are
firmly tightened and the screw locks
are applied.
Check to see if no waste solder, cotton waste,
screws, etc., left inside the machine.
Also clean dust accumlated inside the machine.
Especially check the oil leakage around the
drive assembly and water leakage around the
valve holder.
Check to see if the cord, the plug, the outlet,
etc., are not damaged. Do not use table taps
with multiwiring. Whether the electrical capacity
is suitable.
Check with the level indicator and adjust with the
adjusting leg.
Check to see if floor is flat.
DC 500 V megger.
Stop watch, or watch with a second
hand.
