Use these keys to select the desired size of
paper.When the paper supply of the selected
size runs out, the corresponding cassette will
flash and the message “ADD PAPER” will be
displayed on the Message Display panel.

AUTOMATIC PAPER SELECTION

Normally, the automatic paper selection (APS)
mode is selected. The copier will automati-
cally detect the size of the original and
select the same size of paper (for actual-size
copying only).

AUTOMATIC MAGNIFICATION SELECTION

When you select the automatic magnification
selection (AMS) mode with this key and set
the desired copy size, the copier will auto-
matically detect the size of the original and
calculate the correct reproduction ratio.

CLEAR/STOP
Key

Use this key to correct the copy quantity
entered or stop a multicopy run. During
multicopying, pressing this key once will stop
the copy run and pressing it twice will clear the
copy quantity to “1”.

AUTO-EXPOSURE

Normally, the auto-exposure mode is se-
lected. The copier will automatically detect
the density of the original and select the
optimum exposure for the original.

MANUAL EXPOSURE

In the manual exposure mode, the desired
copy density can be selected. Pressing the
LIGHT
key will lighten the copy in five
exposure steps and vice versa.
