Back light adjustment, Side panel adjustment
Back light adjustment
If you are in bright environment, you may feel difficulty to watch
the screen on your TV. At that time, you may improve the clarity of
the screen with adjusting the Back light feature.
To use the Back light feature:
Press the MENU button, then
press the or button
repeatedly to display the
FEATURE MENU.
Press the or button
repeatedly to highlight Back
light, then press the OK button.
The Back light menu appears.
Press the or button to
adjust.
Side panel adjustment
Adjust the Side panel setting to prevent permanent after-image of
the boundary lines between the side panels and picture in 4:3 mode.
To adjust the Side panel setting:
Press the MENU button, then
press the or button
repeatedly to display the
FEATURE MENU.
Press the or button
repeatedly to highlight Side
panel, then press OK button.
The Side panel menu appears.
Press the or button to
adjust.
The more you turn the
brightness high, the more
effective is obtained.

Notes:
• The cold cathode fluorescent lamp used
for the back light on this TV has
longevity. When the brightness of the
screen comes down, or the flickers of
the screen are caused, or some parts of
the screen do not light up, it may reach
the end of its life.
• When you just buy and start to use
this TV, the flickering may cause in
the screen. In this case, switch off the
TV, then switch on it again to recover
the condition.
