Connecting a Set Top Box and a DVD player
Connecting a Set Top Box
Connect a Scart lead from the Set Top Box to Scart 4 or 5 on the back of the TV. Connect the aerial as described on
page 9.
If your TV automatically switches over to monitor the connected equipment you can return to normal TV simply by
pressing the desired programme position button. To recall the connected equipment, press the
button repeatedly,
or press the OK, then press the and OK buttons in order to select EXT4 or 5 mode.
Connecting a DVD player
For the highest possible picture quality, you must use the component video cables between TV and DVD player.
Connect component video cables from the DVD player to the COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT jacks

) on
the back of the TV set.
Press the button repeatedly, or press the OK, then press the and OK buttons in order to select the
appropriate source (EXT1 or EXT2). For further information, see page 31.
