15.0 - Maintenance
WARNING:
- The machine must not be powered. Move the main switch to OFF and take out the plug.
- Always wait for a few minutes from switch off before working on the machine.
WARNING:
Use personal protection equipment during maintenance operations: gloves, safety shoes. In case of
maintenance on the higher parts of the plant, use suitable equipment such as ladders, platforms, etc.
that are adequately sized and positioned. After repairs, do not start the plant again before all
protections have been put back into place.
WARNING:
Do not perform substantial repairs, such as welding or other alterations of the load bearing
structure, before having contacted TEM for their written approval and instructions. Carrying out
important repairs without having first consulted TEM could cause breakage of the relevant parts,
with the risk of serious accidents involving personnel or of serious damage to the equipment.
ORDINARY CLEANING OF THE MACHINE
At least once a month clean the external channels of the filling nozzle, disassembling them as per
instructions on chapter 9 NOZZLE DISASSEMBLING, blowing compressed air into the channel
(AIR) and on the fix part (PRODUCT) (1).
Clean the parts with proper specific product (food-grade) only if they are dirty ore you stop it for
long time.
At least once a month, use compressed air to clean the air grilles of the machine motors.
Grease the nozze monthly, disassemble them as indicated in chapter 9 NOZZLE
DISASSEMBLING, pouring Vaseline grease on the primer rod (10).

Check that the emergency stop buttons are working properly

Check the tightness of the structure frame bolts

Check the tightness of the hydraulic elements

Check the tightness of the earth connections
