2.  Install a clevis pin, washer and hairpin into each of 

the pivot brackets (Fig. 089).

Note:  Check the clearance between the hood screen 

and the radiator cap. If there is any interfer-
ence, the hood can be adjusted using the 
slotted holes in the hood mounting brackets:
