13. Remove the large spacer in the spindle housing (Fig.
741).

14. This view shows the 2 bearing races and the large
spacer in the spindle housing (Fig. 742). Note the
internal snap ring in the housing; it is not necessary
to remove it when installing new bearing races and
the spacer.

11. Remove the tapered roller bearing from the bottom
of the spindle (Fig. 739).

12. Using a hammer and a driver with a square edge,
drive both the top and bottom bearing races out of
the spindle housing (Fig. 740).
