Routing the Blower Belt into
the Blower Assembly

1.
If present, cut the existing belt cover bracket so that it
is flush with the edge of the top deck assembly; refer

Remove any sharp edges.
Note:
Upon removal of this kit, install the new cover
bracket; refer to

Procedure
WARNING
An uncovered discharge opening could allow the
mower to throw objects toward you or bystanders,
resulting in serious injury. Also, contact with the
blade could occur.
•
Never operate the lawn mower unless you install
a cover plate, a mulch plate, or a grass chute and
catcher.
•
Make sure that the grass deflector is installed
when you remove the grass chute and catcher.
