• We strongly recommend switching on the electric underblanket
approx. 30 minutes before going to bed and covering it with
the quilt to prevent the warmth from escaping.
Switching off
To switch off the electric underblanket, set the slider for ON/OFF
and temperature settings to the OFF (0) position. The temperature
settings are then no longer illuminated.
CAUTION
If the electric underblanket is not used for several days, set
the slider for ON/OFF and temperature settings to the OFF
(0) position and remove the mains plug from the socket.
Then remove the control from the electric underblanket by
disconnecting it at the connector.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Always remove the supply plug from the mains outlet and remove
the controller from the electric underblanket by disconnecting it at
the connector.
CAUTION
The controller must never get in contact to water or other liquids.
Otherwise, the controller may be damaged.
To clean the controller, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any
chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Small marks on the electric underblanket can be removed with a
damp cloth or sponge, or if necessary, with a little liquid detergent
for delicate laundry.
CAUTION
Note that the electric blanket must not be dry-cleaned, wrung out,
machine dried, pressed or ironed.
In case of heavier soiling, this electric blanket can be washed in
a washing machine. Set the washing machine to a particularly
gentle, 30°C cycle (woolens programme). Use a wool laundry
detergent and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
CAUTION
Note that excessive washing will wear out the electric blanket. For
this reason, the electric blanket should only be machine-
washed once or twice a year.
While the electric blanket is still damp after washing, shape it to
its original form and size and place it flat over a clothes drying
rack to dry.
CAUTION
• Do not attach the electric underblanket to washing lines with
washing pegs or similar. Otherwise the electric underblanket
may be damaged.
• Only reconnect the controller to the electric underblanket after
the connector and the electric underblanket are completely dry.
Otherwise the electric underblanket may be damaged.
• Under no circumstances switch on the electric underblanket to
dry it. Otherwise, there is a risk of an electric shock.
STORAGE
When not in use we recommend to store the electric underblanket
in its original packaging. For this purpose, disconnect the
controller from the electric underblanket by unplugging the plug-
in coupling.
