OPERATION
1. Move the control lever(s) to the N
(neutral) position.
After cruising at full throttle, cool
down the engine by idling for a few
minutes before stopping the engine.
(with START/STOP switch)
(without START/STOP switch)
(with START/STOP switch)
2. Push the start/stop switch to stop
the engine.
In the event that the engine does
not stop when the start/stop switch
is pushed, disconnect the fuel line
connector from the outboard motor.
(without START/STOP switch)
2. Turn the ignition switch key to the
OFF position to stop the engine. In
the event that the engine does not
stop when the ignition switch key
is turned to the OFF position, pull
the emergency stop switch clip out
of the emergency stop switch by
pulling the emergency stop switch
lanyard (p. 67).
(with START/STOP switch)
3. Turn the power switch key to the
OFF position, and then remove and
store it.
(without START/STOP switch)
3. When the boat is not in use, remove
and store the ignition switch key
and the emergency stop switch clip
and lanyard.
