CONTROLS AND FEATURES

Malfunction Indicator

When the engine control system

detects an engine control system

malfunction, the malfunction

indicator turns on and the buzzer

sounds at one-second intervals.

Oil Pressure Indicator

When the oil pressure indicator is lit,

oil pressure is OK.

If oil pressure becomes low, the

indicator will turn off, and the engine

protection system will limit engine

speed. Refer to

TAKING CARE OF

UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS,

 on

p. 123.

All models are equipped with a

buzzer that sounds continuously

when the oil pressure indicator turns

off.

Low oil pressure indicates that the

engine oil level is low or that there is

a problem with the engine lubrication

system.
