In the headset configuration menu, the following screen will be displayed:

This is where the headset interface can be manually activated:

Off: The headset is not activated.

On: The headset is activated.

Microphone
sensitivity

You can adjust the level of your headset microphone to the
volume most convenient to the called party.

Ring tone over
phone

The ringing from the telephone’s speaker can be configured
as follows:

: The ring tone can be heard through the speaker and

the headset.

Off

: The ring tone can only be heard via the headset.

Delayed

: The ring tone is first heard only through the headset

and then, 3 seconds later, through the speaker.



In order to make a call using the headset, one of the functions has to be
configured with the “Headset on/off” function. This key is used to start or end a
call in headset mode.
