TENS Pain Therapy with SaneoTENS
TENS ( T ranscutaneous E lectrical N erve S timulation) has been
approved and proven in medical practice for over 40 years.
The SaneoTENS is a TENS therapeutic system for the effective
treatment of acute and chronic pain.
During TENS therapy, a medically effective and harmless current is
passed through the skin into the tissue by two or four electrodes.
The treatment programs are able to distinguish two frequency
ranges.
· TENS therapy (1 Hz to 20 Hz)
... is ideal for the treatment of chronic pain, because it
can stimulate the release of painkilling, endogenous
substances (e.g., endorphins and dynorphins). The effect
of endogenous painkillers is also able to last beyond the
duration of the treatment.
· TENS therapy (50 Hz to 100 Hz)
... is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute pain. It can
block or reduce the pain transmission to the brain.
Treatment frequency
If necessary, you can perform several treatments per
day as long as no side effects such as skin irritation,
for example, occur.
