E.  Remove microwave from galley. 

 

2A. Microwave Oven Removal (P/N 400-1409-02-L-N, 400-1409-02-R-N and units not 

using the mounting bracket)

 

 

A.  Remove power from microwave oven. 

 

B.  Remove using procedure given by galley or aircraft manufacturer. 

 

3.  Controller Card Disassembly (IPL, Figure 1001 and 1002) 

 
A.  Remove screws (15) in eight places, 5 on top of facia (10) and 3 on bottom of facia 

(10).  Carefully slide facia (10) outwards.   

 
NOTE: 

Switch panel overlay ribbon cable is attached to controller (40) inside. 

 
 

B. 

Detach ribbon cable. 

 
 

C.  Remove screws (45), lockwashers (50), and flatwashers (55) in four places to 

detach controller (40). 

 
 

D. 

Disconnect electrical connections. 

 

4.  Filter Disassembly (IPL, Figure 1001, 1002 and 1005) 

 

A. 

Remove screws (200) in 24 places to remove outer wrap (195). 

 
 

B.  Disconnect wiring from filter.   

 

C. 

Remove screw (710), flatwasher (715) and locknut (720) in four places to release 
filter (705) from filter mounting bracket (725 ). 

 
D. 

Remove flatwasher (735), flatwasher (740), and locknut (730) in three places to 
release filter mounting bracket (725) from liner (390). 

 

E. 

Remove locknuts (405) and flatwasher (400) in three places to release filter 
mounting bracket (725) from liner (390). 

 

5.  Power Supply Removal (IPL, Figure 1001 and 1002)

 

 
 

A. 

Remove screws (200) in 24 places to remove outer wrap (195).
