DISASSEMBLY
1. General
NOTE:
Since complete disassembly is impractical and undesirable, only the
following items should be removed as required: those which have been
definitely established by Check or Testing as being defective, those which
must be removed to gain access to remove a defective part, and those
which must be removed in order to electrically isolate a part suspected of
being faulty. Check Testing and Troubleshooting procedures to
determine those components which are defective and, therefore, the
extent of disassembly required.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble staked, pinned, cemented, or pressed-in parts unless
necessary for repairs.
NOTE:
Observe proper ESD handling and storage procedures for PCB
assemblies after removing top cover. ESD Discharges may damage PCB
assemblies.
NOTE:
TIA recommends after any disassembly or reassembly of the Wavejet
Microwave Oven, a complete functional test be performed on the
microwave oven. Refer to the Testing and Troubleshooting section of this
manual.
2. Microwave Oven Removal (P/N 400-1338-02, P/N 400-1409-02, P/N 400-1746-02,
