Handset functions
You can also call a number from your contacts or from a list of recent calls:
•
Contacts
: Press the right select key from the main screen and move to the
contact you want to call. Then press the off-hook key.
•
Recent calls
: To see the latest calls (incoming, outgoing and missed calls),
press the off-hook key from the main screen. Press the off-hook key again
to call the selected number.

call using a BGAN terminal on page 29.
To receive a call
When the handset is ringing, the display
shows the calling name or number, if
known.
Answer the call by pressing the off-hook key
in the left side of the keypad
, or by
removing the handset from the cradle. For
information on cradle detection, see Cradle
on page 44.
Any open menus are closed down when the handset is ringing.
To end or reject a call
Press the on-hook key
to end an ongoing call or to reject an incoming
call.
When the handset is in hand-held mode, you can also end the call by placing
the handset in the cradle.
Note
If the handset is in the cradle while
you answer the call, the mode will
automatically be hands-free (by
default).
